How to sow Everlasting daisy seeds

Australian Pink and White Everlastings, Rhodanthe chlorocephala subsp. rosea, are the perfect wildflower for novice gardeners and for people looking for low maintenance plants.

Simply scatter the seeds on the surface of the soil in a full sun or part sun position and water in.

Tips for sowing Everlasting seeds

1.     Everlasting seeds need sunlight to germinate so DO NOT bury them or cover them with mulch

2.    Mixing your seed with soil can make it easier to distribute the seeds when you scatter them.

3.     I find watering in the seeds helps the seeds stick to the soil so that they do not blow away. Alternatively, you may gently rake them into the soil.

4.     Everlastings are best sown after late autumn or winter rains have occurred AND when further rains are forecasted to occur in the coming weeks. The rain will keep the seeds moist as they germinate.
